I've shipped a range of AI applications and automation workflows for clients ranging from conversational AI and RAG to quantitative trading systems. My focus is where most AI work still falls short: getting from working prototype to something reliable, monitored, and cost-controlled enough to run in production.

What I actually do day-to-day
- Build agentic AI systems using Claude, OpenAI, LangChain, LangGraph, and MCP
- Ship RAG pipelines with vector databases, embedding strategies, and re-ranking layers
- Design automation workflows in Python, Node.js, n8n, and FastAPI on AWS
- Integrate LLMs with CRMs, document systems, Slack, and existing enterprise APIs
- Build evaluation harnesses, guardrails, and observability because untested AI in production can get expensive and sketchy fast
I also recently finished a research paper benchmarking prompting strategies for synthetic audience prediction across two public datasets (OpinionQA and Twin-2K-500), with findings that include a counterintuitive negative result on chain-of-thought prompting.
Before AI (and still to this day) I ran globally distributed cloud infrastructure handling hundreds of millions of HTTP requests per week at 99.9%+ uptime while being main point of contact and investor relations for over 50,000 clients with ~$230M AUM. Before that, federal real estate acquisition at GSA. Before that, the Air Force as a Nuclear Missile Operations Officer.
Non-linear from the outside. From the inside, one throughline: operate systems most people don't understand, under conditions where failure isn't an option, and write down what you learned so the next person doesn't make the same mistake.
